NIELIT,Itanagar Centre is a unit of NIELIT, New Delhi,an autonomous Scientific Society of the Dept. of Information Technology under Ministry of Communication and Information Technology,Govt. of India.

 

The Centre is located at E-Sector,Near Shiv Mandir,Naharlagun,Arunachal Pradesh - 791110.

 

Permanent campus of the centre will come up on a 15 acres land to be provided for free of cost by the Government of Arunachal Pradesh in due course of time.

 

Objective: The proposed Institute at Itanagar will have the prime objective of creating skilled manpower in the area of Computer Science and Information Technology and related disciplines. The Institute will offer training programs to improve employment opportunities and facilitate availability of quality IT manpower, which in turn will lead to growth of IT industry in the region.
